Munich-based MEYSENS GmbH is the manufacturer of Toposens ECHO ONE®, the world's first 3D ultrasonic echolocation sensor for collision avoidance in mobile robots. Unlike existing sensor technologies that can be negatively affected by lighting conditions or humidity, the sensor uses echolocation as known from bats to generate robust and cost-effective real-time 3D echolocation data for multiple object detection.
